Obenchain testified for complainant on direct examination as follows: 4163 I am supervisor of the General Land Office, and have been since 1892. As to complainant's Exhibit No. 4, we had a call for the preparation of the map, showing the three rivers and all filings, entries, selections, disposals and patents. We took our records, tract books and other books, and obtained the data of the different kinds of filings and entries, and after we got the data all together, we had this map prepared. On each subdivision we put down the nature of the claim. The letters " O. P." mean oil and gas permits under the Act of February 25, 1920, issued by the Interior Department. The letters " A. P." mean oil applications for permits. 4164 The map was made about two years ago. The letters " M. P." mean mineral patents. " O. L." means oil lease, which is issued for a period of 20 years on discovery by the Interior Department. " S. M. L" means leases issued by the State of Utah to different people covering the bed of the river only. " S" mean State land, or State selections, 4165 or land granted by the Government to the State. The legend on the map covers all the different classes 4167 shown on the map. Complainant's Exhibit No. 408, being a photograph of the tunnel, was received in evidence. Wendell M. Reed testified for complainant on direct examination as follow: I live at Washington, D. C. I am a civil engineer. I have been chief engineer and supervising engineer in the United States Indian Service since 1912.
