Une troupe de petits Amours effrayez d'un accident Ci furprenant, fortent avec précipitation des ruines du Palais, & retiennent une partie des déguiiemens qu'ils n'ont pas eu le tems de dépouiller tout-à-fait: les uns ont encore les plumages des oifeaux , d'autres une partie des habits des Nymphes & danfeurs, qu'ils avoient pris pour fervir la paîIiond'Armide ; ce qui termina le Balet. Une partie . des Entrées fut dansée par le Roi ; les Princes & les Princeffes, avec les plus grands Seigneurs de la Cour, étoient de ces Entrées. Comme le Roi en avoit fait la dépenfe , rien ne fut épargné pour rembellifTement du fpe-«ftacle , pour les machines, les décorations , Oc la magnificence des ha-bits. I |
