Show Items of General Interest 'The Flowers That Bloom in the Spring" We Hated To Do It, But! Some Winter! Once upon a midnight dreary As I lay, so -weak and weary Dreaming of the spring that soon should come Suddenly I heard a sighing The north wind to east replying Blowing, howling, loudly, while it snowed. Long weeks later, still as weary Winds still blowing, oh so dreary- Still I dreamed of spring, that soon should come Then again I heard the sighing Sounds as though the world was dying Then I knew, beyond a doubting that it snowed. Then the sun looked bright and cheery I again was sad and dreary For I had no hat to wear when spring should come Suddenly I started swearing, Raging, ranting, cursing-, rearing, For I'd looked out of the window and it snowed. I would die, but I was leary As I thought, my eyes grew bleary But I hoped to die, spring would not come As I sadly thought of dying Came a sterner voice replying, Made me stamp my foot and cry out "Let it snow."
