This was NEVER DONE, only as their names were placed as witnesses in the front of the book, but its real teachings have never been taught. Can you deny these teachings? JESUS SAYS, on page 724: 102. Ut. Ed. 485:8 that who ever denies these things let him be accursed. The Book of Mormon has only been taught as a history, never for its doc trine. We spend time and money to prove it archeologically true, but let its doctrines be read to us and we say, /II don't believe thot." God says that it is true, and that it will stand as a testi mony against us at the last day. Pages 646:31; 726:3. Ut. Ed. 431:7 and 487:4. Except we repent and return to teach and to do as this glorious record teach es us we shall be rejected of our Lord. Why should we say that the book is true and then deny its teachings when they are read. Where does this leave the Latter Dcry Saint people? In Apos tasy and transgression against God. He said that his word shall never pass away. Our great sin is we have no re spect for the WORD OF GOD. We think we can change it to our way of believ ing and reasoning. This cannot be. Ed. 25:40, 41 says they IN THE am found in THE BIBLE AND BOOK OF MORMON. As Jeremiah said so long ago, "Oh Earth, Earth, Earth, hear the WORD OF THE LORD." This is our cry today, re pent, return to God and HIS WORD. God says when we have sinned and transgressed in our fulness, we shall be destroyed even as the Jaredites and Page the Nephites were before us. They 717:30, 35, Ut. Ed. 481:10, 12. didn't believe God either and taught as they pleased until God's judgments came upon them. Our Gentile world is fast ripening for destruction save we repent. God is now bringing to light what the Book of Mormon really teaches. We should be very careful how we condemn the things found in this Book. Our prayer in the name of Jesus is that we will heed the Word of God as found in the Book of Mormon and Bi ble both to say and do. "Oh, the love that drew salvation's plan!
