The Law of Moses was A SCHOOL MASTER TO BRING ISRAEL TO CHRIST. Gal. 3:24. It was a law of types and shadows, and the priest hood or ministry which was laid WITH THE LAW was made from a carnal commandment, or the actual seed of Aaron. Heb. 7: 16. In Heb. 5: 1 we read, "FOB EVERY HIGH PRIEST TAKEN FROM AMONG MEN is ordained for men in things per taining to God, THAT HE MAY OFFER BOTH GIFTS AND SACRIFICES FOR SINS:" All this was IN TYPE OF THE MINISTRY OF CHRIST, the Redeemer of mankind. Heb. 8:4, 5-Book' of Mor mon, Rsorc. Ed., pages 116:7 to 10396:75, 76. Utah Ed., 73:4-260:15, 16. We read in the Book of Mormon, Re ore. Ed., page 429:215 to 218, Utah Ed., 282: 14 to 17, "And behold this is the WHOLE MEANING OF THE LAW; every whit pointing to that GREAT that SACRIFICE;' and LAST AND GREAT AND LAST SACRIFICE will be INFINITE THE SON OF GOD; yea, 12 REDEMPTION." I 1 l This scripture has told us that CHRIST WAS THE GREAT AND LAST SACRIFICE, He was the LAST HIGH PRIEST because He was THE LAST SACRIFICE.
