Properly speaking, only to most northerly outpost of Uper-navik. Doubtful if indigenous all the year round, or if at all. Limits of Danish Greenland ? Do. do. Not south of Wolstenholme Sound. Not north of Holsteensborg. Possibly not north of Melville Bay. Bange rather doubtful. Bare north of 70°. Very rarelv seen N. of 73° and S. of 65°. Range doubtful. Bange unknown. ( Those species of Cetacea marked as extending north only to Melville Bay, probably occa- •{ sionally reach a higher latitude ; but this bay is the usual limit, and north of this tbe species is rarely seen. Range unknown, but probably the same as H. butzkopf. given are only, in most cases, approximate or provisional. |
