The east and west sides of the house have picture windows with transoms above on the main floor and one-over-one double hung windows on the second floor. The lentils and sills are concrete. There are three fireplaces on the main floor, one in each of ~ rooms. The mantles are «H oak with original ceramic tile and ornate, cast metal fire box fronts. The .mantle in the dining room stands a~ feet tall with very ornate carvings of lion heads and serpents. The oak staircase in the entry has two flights of stairs with one landing. The interior doors are five panel with transoms above. The second floor~s two bedrooms on the east, each with itfs own fireplace; "l~ aIiiQ. two bedrooms on the west. In the center ~ is a small sitting room and two bathrooms. The basement of the house was made into an apartment in the early 1990's. Most of the woodwork has been painted through the years, but was all originally grained to look like oak. The floors are ~ maple which replaced the original fYu- flooring in probably the 1930's or 40's.
