Show Part 2 1. (cont.) Description of features: off of brick at one time and painted. Aluminum siding covers the wood trim and sheets of grooved plywood are glued and nailed to ceiling of porch. The beaded lap board on the ceiling is in bad condition and sane pieces are missing. Due to water damage, it does not appear that we can salvage enough to canpletely restore it with original materials. Description of proposed work (cont.) paint. Install rain gutter over front steps. Re-roof with asphalt shingles which are shaded to look like shakes. Install a strip of snow and ice shield under shingies to prevent further leaking. Replace beaded lap board-: of ceiling on porch with similar beaded cottage pine board and paint. |
