Show Record Exhibit No. 89, at Cisco; No. 90, at Lee's Ferry; No. 90 1/ 2, at Bright Angel Creek; No. 91, at Topock, Arizona; No. 92, at Yuma, Arizona; No. 93, at Green River, Wyoming; No. 94 at Green River, Utah; No. 95, at Shiprock, New Mexico; and No. 96, at Bluff, Utah. Exhibit No. 97, being hydrographs of the Green River prepared by Mr. Hoyt, and Exhibit No. 98, being a mathematical calculation prepared by the witness and constituting a summary of the stream flow at Cisco were received in evidence. 265 Exhibits Nos. 90, 91 and 92, respectively were held by 268 the Special Master to be irrelevant and inadmissible. Exhibit No. 86 was received in evidence, subject to such objections as defendant might later desire to make thereto, and with the right on the part of complainant to recall Mr. Hoyt to testify personally to such portions of the exhibit as he may be competent to testify concerning in order to meet any objection urged by defendant. I saw no signs of human habitation after I left the 269 mouth of the San Rafael until I got down to the cataracts, and I saw no boats. Going up the Colorado River I saw no homes or ranches or other signs of habitation, except the shanties at the oil wells. William Glen Hoyt testified on cross examination as follows: 271 I went from Washington, D. C., to Green River, Utah, for the purpose of making the examinations concerning which I have testified and within two or three days after arrival at Green 272 River I began my trip. I arrived at Green River on September 27 and then intended to have the large boat come over from Moab and use it on the trip. This plan was formulated before I left Wash- 273 ington. Before leaving Washington I had correspondence with our district engineer and hydraulic engineer at Salt Lake City, who 274 was familiar with the rivers.
