It was a fairly good meeting, but it wasn't you knm~, we always hoped that eventually the majority of the people would come out but like I said there is always the excuse that I'm too busy or whatever. But our main office our chapter office is in Price. We have made so many trips to Price, but I mean now we are just kind of established as the SOCIO officers although we are not officers anymore. But we still have a lot of people come to us you know with their problems and what they should do . BM: \~at are some of their problems? CC: Well, people that have dealt with the law and have been treated unfairly, and housing, employment, anything that you can think of , deliquent, you know kids that have been shoved into a -------------­BM: We were discussing, you were t 'alking about a teacher aid program, what is that and what is it about? CC: Well, it is a government funded program . Last year they selected fourteen women to train of course the training consisted of, I mean I don't know what kind of training that was supposed to have been, but it consisted of going to the college for one quarter and if you could maintain a 'C' then you qualified . KT : What kind of classes or courses did you have to take? CC: Well, I took English, Child Development, Type, and teaching music in a public school and Library Science. I had a full schedule. I was quite pleased with myself because you know I maintained, ·well I came out with a B+ average which I thought was really good because
