Show A. S. U. U. ENTERTAINMENT COMMITTEE In order to provide students with necessary amount of social activity, the Associated Students Entertainment Committee is organized each year. The members of this committee for the past season were Pratt Clark, Stewart Wright, Mirra Jacobs, and Virginia Ot-terstrom. These students arranged all social activities sponsored by the A. S. U. U. The principal activity of the entertainment committee was the arrangement of the dances following all the home football games. After the encounters with Wyoming, Denver, B. Y. U., Colorado College, and the Utah State Agricultural College, Pratt Clark Chairman last fall, parties were given in the Hotel Utah ballroom. During Prom week, a matinee dance was held every day between twelve-twenty and one o'clock, in the main hall of the Park Building. The Entertainment committee also planned the A. S. U. U. Reception given during Prom Week. After the basketball game with Brigham Young University the committee arranged a novel basketball dance. Instead of being held in the ballroom, this dance was given in the main dining room of the Hotel Utah. The dancing was cabaret style, the students remaining at small tables where refreshments were served between the dances. Otterstrom Wright Jacobs 150 |
