Show THE UNIVERSITY BOOKSTORE The University Bookstore is no1 merely a place where one buys books. Its services are many. The students are able to buv all ordinary school supplies and, in addition, such goods as art materials, leather, .mil stationery. Other features of the store are I he I'. S. Posl Office, the candy counter, and the gift shop which displays jewelry and other articles decorated with I In University seal. The manager, in an attempt to give every possible service to to the students who make his institution possible, provides free ink and blotters and maintains a lost and found bureau. The Bookstore of the University of Utah is a co-operative institution owned by the University and controlled by the Board of Regents. It is located conveniently on I he lower floor of the Park Building. Sei- bert \V Mote, as general manager, trans-ads the business of the store but President George Thomas decides how the profits shall be spent. The Bookstore funds aided in the building of the Stadium and are now being used toward the completion of the I Inion Building. With the occupancy of the John R. Park Building, the present bookstore had its commencement. It serves as a medium of connection between students and publishers. Improvements are being initiated into its organization and operation every year and its policy still stands, "The greatest service to the greatest number of students." At the present, three or four students are employed in the main store and two additional in the second-hand bookshop. '..Ill ui*.......
