Show ( 2 ) warmly encouraged by such zoologists as were acquainted with it, had not proved profitable, the Zoological Record Committee appointed by the British Association for the Advancement of Science resolved upon founding a ZOOLOGICAL R E C O RD ASSOCIATION as the best means of carrying on the work, and upon inviting zoologists generally to co-operate with them in attaining the desired object. The Seventh, Eighth, Ninth and Tenth Volumes have been brought out under the auspices of the Association, and are on sale to the public at Thirty Shillings each-John Van Voorst, 1, Paternoster Row, E.C. The ASSOCIATION, as may be seen from the Rules above quoted, consists of Members and Subscribers; and gentlemen desirous of joining it in either capacity are requested to forward their names to the SECRETARY.
