England edits Pen with new look and changed policies As the major outlet for the creative writers of campus, the Pen took in, edited, and published many of the finer examples. Produced for the student body three times a year, at the end of each quarter, it set new policies and standards this year. The publications editor, Gene England, sought means of major improvements with a change to a more artistic, intellectual meaning. Larger dimensions and brighter, more dramatic covers were the first thing to attract the large number of readers who pursued the pages of the fruitful art of the creative writer. Seldom had the campus magazine had so many readers and interested followers as the 1957-58 editions of the Pen. Gene England, Pen Editor; Bob Holt, Business Manager.
