One more victory is needed to clinch the . championship for the second consecutive season.The team this year was composed of Captain Dave Freed, Harry Guss, BillWoodard, Ross Sutton, Jimmy Wilding, Bill Stratford, Harvey Hansen, and Mar-shall Neff. Freed paired with Sutton to form one doubles team, and Harry Guss, Bill Woodard, Jimmy Wilding, and Harvey Hansen alter-nated on theTheron Parmelee otherHead Tennis CoachIn the first contest of the year against the "Y", Utah won three out of five matches. Dave Freed and Ross Sutton won their doubles match and Freed won his singles match Woodard came to the rescue by defeating Paul Holt in straight sets.Utah completely trounced the Aggies in the second encounter of the season. Freed and Sutton won their doubles match, and Freed won his singles. Harry Guss defeated Jack Christiansen in three straight sets in the lone singles to give Utah its victory.
