It performs, da}^ after day throughout the school year, possibly the most thankless tasks that any student council faces. Its prestige, once elections are over, is so small as to be indistinguishable ; the work becomes increasingly arduous as the }rear draws on ; and there is no compensation either in glory or finance for the Councillors' pains.The officers for 1930-1931 were: Wesley H. Anderson, President; Grace Anderson, Vice-President; Richard Pollock, Second Vice-President; Virginia White, Secretary; and Theran Davis, Treasurer.The Council adopted a new handbook and designed a seal for the Associated Students with, naturally, the block "U" as the motif.
