Show Pep Band in UniformA. S. U. U. BANDSix years ago the Associated Students' Pep Band was organized with sixteen members. Since then it has grown steadily and within the past year has increased from thirty-six regulars and six reserves to aexcursion to the Utah-Colorado football game at Boulder.Aside from its regular activities, the band appeared on Homecoming Day, "U" Day, Founder's Day and High Schoolband of fifty members. The officers of the organization were: Ralph Cloward, drum major and student leader; Alden Hatch, manager; Eric Smith, publicity manager; Richard Darnell, librarian, with Grant Workman and Paul Baer assisting.Although handicapped by minimum practice time, the band has served the Associated Students with efficiency.Clarence J.
