The Cougars won 5-7 to 49.The main factors in Utah's team were coordination, offensive and defensive power. Usualty Brave teams have lacked offensive polish, but this year the Redskins had everything.Too much credit cannot be given to Captain Hap Lybbert for his fine and steady guarding. Although not a heavy scorer, he came through in the pinches, always playing a good defensive game. Jerry Smith saved the Utes many a game with his uncanny eye for the hoop. Theran Davis, the dynamite of the crew, played stellar ball throughout the .season. George Watkins, when given a chance, a 1 s o did well. Lybbert, Smith, Davis, and Wat-Paul Rose Guardkins completed their athletic careers at the University at the end of the hoop season. Sherman Clark will captain the Utes in 1932.Kean Westphall proved a capable sub as a forward.
