Show Fair Forever 146 Mom pulls up as the storm is ending. She's later than I expected. When I climb in the car, I'm fuming, still boiling about the party. "Sorry I'm late," she says. "I was swamped when you called. And then I had to explain to Mr. Callister that you wouldn't be coming today. He understood. He remembered!
