Also, the Commission will welcome your suggestions respecting any of the legal aspects of its efforts directed toward development of a consistent and comprehensive Federal water-resources policy. In this connection, it will be observed that or- ganizational problems are not within the purview of the Commission's assignment. Specifications for Preparation of Reports The Commission will appreciate receiving 25 copies of each of the foregoing reports as soon as each is completed in tentative form, and prepared in accordance with the following specifications: (a) Number and title of each report to conform to the number and underscored headings in the above listing. (b) Mimeographed on 8 x 10J4 white paper. (c) To be typed double spaced excepting quoted ma- terial, which is to be single spaced. (d) Margins: top and bottom, 1 inch; right, 1 lA inches; left, \l/i inches. (e) Each report to be numbered separately beginning with page 1, and page numbers to be typed in the center of the bottom margin. (f) Each report to be stapled separately in the extreme upper left corner. (g) At the end of each report, set forth the name of each person preparing the report and of each person reviewing it, together with the telephone code and ex- tension for each. (h) Inquiries addressed to the Commission concerning these reports should be marked for attention of Bernard A. Foster, Jr. (Executive 3300, Government Code, 189, Extension 737 or 791). 314 |
