Show The Lan£ua£e CirclesANOTHER year has proved the importance of our language circles, both in arousing a greater interest in languages and in furnishing social diversion for their members. Under the direction of their dictator and two consuls, the "Collegae" of the Collegium Latinum have been reading Nepos' "Lives" to gain a broader view of their classics. To those who like to imagine themselves in Paris or Berlin, several hours of an evening, chattering and frolicking with their University friends, the French and German circles have afforded many a pleasant opportunity. The Scandinavian Club, a promising new addition to this movement, made its initial bow in February with a series of folk-dances in costume by a troupe of Swedish artists. These organizations have aimed to revive an interest in the literature and customs of the people, to give opportunities for gaining a speaking acquaintance with the languages, and by these means to cement a feeling of good-fellowship among all who* are interested.OfficersCollegium LatinumDictator............................................................................................LULU LICKLEYConsuls....................................MARGUERITE CAMERON, LEDA WALLACEFrench CirclePresident...............................................................................................EDNA COHNVice-President...............................................................CATHERINE RICHARDSSecretary....................................................................................................LILY KINGTreasurer..........................................................................................HORACE HIGGSGerman CirclePresident......................................................................................EDWIN SPENCERVice-President......................................................................BESS MONTGOMERYSecretary-Treasurer............................................................FLORENCE KINSEYScandinavian ClubPresident..............................................................................................P.
