No more words. They had already decided to avoid KXKXXXXXXXX Funly's house as much as possible, and so the gate at the front of the yard. They would hit the neighhor's shrubs at the left, then follow them to the barn that was now the Funster's garage. Then the back gate. It took forever. They ducked, popped, fell, stumbled, scared each other with their breath. But finally, they lay on their bellies at Funly*s back gate, panting, peering into the yard for the tent where Funly Funster and Stinky Jinx slept the bliss of pre-molestation. Then, just before opening the back gate, Jarvis remembered another thing, Funster's hunting dogs in the barn. He turned to Georgie. "I forgot about the hunting dogs," he whispered. Georgie thought for a minute, rubbing his chin like his Dad, Gary Gorky. He looked dumb. "Well," said Georgie. "We're next to the barn now." Jarvis was counting his breaths, xx The whole idea felt more stupid every second. Maybe tomorrow they could just beat the crap out of the two of them. Why risk their lives? |
