Show 164 remembered something that he hadn't felt since he massacred Rutter Rutkowski, there wasn't any up or x down or right or wrong, there wasn't any justice, there wasn't aaxxx anything, nothing at all but the advance of the Union's dirty man. Red measured and launched. There was a crunch. The Union's dirty man stopped and wiped blood from a crushed xaxaa nose, his eyes dark and inanimate. He lowered his head left, then right, and that's when Red knew he could hit him in the face all day and all he'd end up with was sore fists. The Union's dirty man smiled and stepped forward and Red put his fist k between his stomach and his chest. There was a loud crack and the Union's dirty man coughed up blood. The crowd of men was quiet. Over the din of machines Red heard the snow falling behind him. That's v/hen Red knew there was nothing he could do to stop the Union's dirty man because he had even less motivation to fight than Red, he would just fight until somebody killed him and no one would do that so eventually he would win. Red backed up. The Union's dirty man charged. Red stepped asx aside and threw him into the side of the furnace where his head buried into his shoulders with a loud dong. Quickly Red grabbed him by the ankles and lifted him into the air. He thought momentarily of swinging him into a wall but instead put him upside dov/n in a big metal garbage can. Red stepped back and the Union's dirty man kicked his way out of the garbage can. That's when Red realized that the fight was just starting. He wasn't fighting a human being, he was fighting a dinosaur. Even if he cut off the Union Dirty Man's head he would keep fighting. Then he got up again. That's the way it went and that's the way it would have gone forever if the back-to-work whistle didn't blow. That's when the Union's dirty man pointed at Red and said "I'll see you tomorrow," and walked away. Tnen yci^ flUxl-day aUb^nch the Union's dirty man came back with his |
