Show 187 a ballet xx dancers and got into the Marines. With Helen's attitude she could never get in the Marines. "That's true," said Helen. After a week of pinochle Jon got a job in the mornings teaching kindergarten. He liked it okay. He spent most the time taking the clothes off and then putting the clothes back on the kids, he made them take lots of naps and when they were awake they played lots of games that involved keeping their hands in the air. The only problem was that x Jon was x starting to feel light footed in his left foot. He fought all morning to keep it down, but when he got to Helen's in the afternoon he let it hang out from the table and float. Sometimes he stood for hours on one leg looking like a logo for Indiana University or a symbol of the planet Uranus, maybe Neptune. Dee got a letter from the Marines that said she might not hear from Derk for a long time. His mission was Top Secret she told Helen. Helen found out Red had been sent to Hawaii. Dee made Helen learn a system of signals to tell each other what was in each other's hands and what to play next but it didn't work, Bush and Jon still always won. "I don't understand," said Dee. "Pffft," said Bush. "Till now you've been playing children." Dee was getting bigger everyday and she and Helen talked about naming their babies and of course Dee wanted a boy and was going to name him Derk for his Derk Dad the Top Secret Marine, and of course Helen didn't care what she had, especially since she was planning on having several more, in fact she kind of hoped it might be a girl, just to x take all the xxaxxxxaxx££ first-born son pxxxxxxK of returning Marine pressure off the little tyke, so didn't think she'd name the baby Jarvis no matter what, besides Red was sending her ixxaixi letters saying 'whatever you do don't name him Jarvis'. Well Derk Delco Jr. got just about due, then he got due, then he got overdue. Helen sat up nights with Dee Delco xkxia drinking Mogan David in xaxxxxxx- Seven-Up and sitting by the telephone for Dee so she could call the hospital at any moment while Derk Delco Jr. decided to come out, then decided to xxi stay in- then decided to come out, then decided not to come out. |
