A No, I don't remember any trouble of any kind; sailed right along; there was a channel that the main stream of the river followed, and of course the river, as everybody knows, is very crooked, consequently the channel would have to cross from one side of the river to the other; if you followed that channel there was no trouble in getting good depth all the way down; if you did not follow that channel, and used poor judg-ment, it was easy, what I say there references to the river below the mouth of the San Rafael.
