Q Mr. Sterling, I will ask you to state the progress of your trip, and particularly to call to the court's attention any difficulties or obstacles that were encountered on that trip. BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q What month was this? A We started out on May 27th, and got back June 26th, 1908. Going down the first night we went right down to what we call Tenmile, that is about forty- two miles, as I remember, below Elgin. The next night we camped at Barrier creek. The next night we went clear down as far as we wanted to go -- the next morning or forenoon we reached the bottom, as far as we wanted to go. BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q That was where? A Sir?
