Q After your arrival there about how long did you stay on the river? A I spent most of the time for four years. Q Upon your arrival at Gable camp did you see any boats? A No, not a Gable camp. Q Where did you see your first boat after your arrival on the San Juan? A At Williams bar, at the mouth of Copper canyon. Q That is where you first touched the river, was it? A Yes sir. |
