Show 6670 Franz- D 4660 Q What, if anything, do you know about any mineraliza-tion in that section of the country? A Well -- MR. BLAKCMAR: I think maybe we better have his qualifications to state it. I object to it until his quali-fications are shown. MR. FARNSWORTH: I am asking him the very question, what he knows about it. THE SPECIAL MASTER: isn't that the question, what does he know? MR. BLACKMAR: I take it he is proceeding to state there is such mineral down there. MR. FARNSWORTH: he says he is familiar with the country. MT. BLACKMAR: I object to it. It is a matter of expert testimony. I object to it until he shows his qualifications to answer the question. MR. FARNSWORTH: it may be considered an expert question in your part of the country. I think any man in the west knows what mineralization is. THE SPECIAL MASTER: If we were going into the ques-tion in detail it might be a question of expert testimony. This is, I suppose, general testimony as to what the nature of the country is down there. Of course, the value of its de-pends on the extent of his knowledge. |
