A It was in the fall, as I remember late summer or early fall, I don't just exactly remember what month it was. Q Was it low water? A Low water? Q I wish you would state to the court what if any diffi-culties you encountered on that trip in going either up or down? A Didn't have any -- going down we hit a sandbar; didn't have any trouble coming back. Q How long were you stuck on that sandbar you hit going down? A Oh, just four or five minutes. Q Did you have trouble keeping in the channel so you would have deep enough water to get along? A No. Q On the return journey up the river who came with you, if anybody? A I don't remember -- don't know who that party was; I believe young Wimmer was with me, Andy Wimmer, I believe he was with me coming back. Q did he go down with you? A yes, I think that is the trip he went down with me. Q The geologist did not come down with you A They went up to Moab. |
