A Twenty feet long, possibly four at the bottom and five at the top. Q What kind of motor, if any, did you have? A We had a two- horse Evinrude motor. Q Two- horsepower Evinrude motor? A Yes sir. Q How much of a load would you carry in that boat? A When we was going up the river there certain times, I suppose, we would have a thousand or fifteen hundred pounds on when we was moving camp; most generally four or five hun-dred pounds. Q Did you make any trips to the mouth of the Escalante? A Yes, I think we went to what is known as Rock creek; it is below Escalante. Q Rock creek is? A Yes. Q Did you take supplies from Halls Crossing down there? A Yes sir. Q In this same motor boat that you have described? A Yes sir. |
