A No, I don't suppose I did. Q He wasn't writing it down on a typewriter as you gave it. THE SPECIAL MASTER: This is argument, Mr. Farnsworth. You can argue that. I don't think you can ask the witness to argue it out now on the stand. MR. FARNSWORTH: I think under the conditions I should be permitted to ask this witness about this statement. THE SPECIAL MASTER: You can ask about the statement, but you can not say, " You didn't do this, or didn't do that." That is purely argumentative. |
