Show OHI Sade Tannenbaum 7-4-82 s2:24 caterer. See Turner & Block does that now. And I th' k t th ~n oo, ey changed ~esidents. Also, I don't belong. Becuase I feel we have enough: We have Hadassah, B'nai Brith; we have a Sisterhood and Council for the community here. And the same people belong to every one. And Hadassah, they've just gone overboard, because every time you turn around there's something they want to do. JK I've wondered that there's so many organizations for women; and yet, what about the men? I ~ ST B'nai Brith and they're down the wayside. They just have an awful time. They don't have the membership. It isn't as active as it used to be. That's a good organization because they do a lot for the youth. ~~ (~ JK Both the B'nai Brith women and men - what is the role of B'nai Brith? ST Well, theyhave BEG's. They help them out. And I think that's essential, to help the youth. I think that's what we need today more than ever. JK There's so many women oganizations, in relation to Judaism, what women role do play. ST In general? JK In all these <rganizations. ST Their goal is to raise funds: money, money, money. And they're doing and sending. But why don't they look and see how much help we need here for our youth here. It used to be a fine organization:B'nai Brith. They helped. And I still think they do but maybe not as much. Bec aus e I think fuat--it's great, don't misunderstand. Israel needs. Thisone needs . Everybody needs. Everything is worthy. ButifYou have anything that is loc al, kind of look up to your local. This is my opinion of it . |
