Show PROPOSED CUT AL~D FILL METHOD FOR FLIN FLON ORE BODY The Flin Flon ore body is made up from two diff eren t kind s of ore, a soli d sulp hide and a diss emi nate d ore. The diff eren t kind s of ore mus t be kept sepa rate on acco unt of met allu rgic al adva ntag es gain ed in trea tme nt. Some meth od must be adop ted whic h wil l prov ide for clas sifi cati on. The ore body on the 650 ft. leve l is some 1800 feet in leng th and wil l ave rage 75 feet in wid th. The hang ing wal l is a hard gree nsto ne and dips ·at 70 deg rees . The foot wal l rock is soft er but if a thin laye r of diss emi nate d ore is left aga inst the foot wal l in the sout h end of the min e, whe re the foot wal l is somewhat soft er, litt le diff icu lty shou ld be had in mai ntai ning the wal ls for suff icie nt peri ods for min ing out the ore. The soli d sulphid e ore is very hard and wil l supp ort itse lf for wide wid ths when not dist urbe d by over head blas ting .
