Show of the five will be left at the Siding, one copy for Mr. Morgan's working file and one copy for Mr. Roche. When the three copies sent to Island Falls have been properly receipted , one copy will be retained by the Fraser-Br ace Engineerin g Company for their files, and the original and one copy returned to the Biding. The original is to go to the Company's permanent file at the mine office, and the duplicate is to go to Mr. Morgan. In this way each of the par- ties concerned will have one signed copy. Different colored paper has been used for each copy with the idea in mind that each of the individua ls receiving copies would always receive the same colored copy. Please follow out this idea. It is believed that the balance of the informatio n asked for on the Bill of Lading is self-expla natory. However, each and every Bill of Lading should be complete and none of the information asked for thereon eliminated . WINTER FREIGHTING RECORD, FORM 0142 (EXHIBIT 11 E•): This record is provided for the purpose of keeping account of the weight, mileage, ton miles and commoditi es hauled. Each bill of lading should be entered in this record as soon as it is sent out. Entries should be made by trips so that the Trip Numbers run consecuti vely down the page; weight in pounds should be entered for each bill, the total weight for the trip converted to tons (extended to two decimal places) and entered in one a.mount; mileage and ton mileage should also be entered only for the trip. The weight of each sleigh load should be apportion ed between the commoditi es making up the load and entered in the proper "Mater- -18- |
