Carter for the study and documentation of westering North America. The program of the museum, expressed in permanent collections, exhibitions, publications, and special events, reflects many aspects of American culture, both historic and contemporary. This book was prepared in conjunction with the exhibit "Richard Kern's Watercolors" produced by the Amon Carter Museum, Fort Worth, and on view at the Amon Carter Museum from March 8, 1985 to April 28, 1985; at the Museum of Fine Arts, Santa Fe, New Mexico, from May 12, 1985 to June 30, 1985; and at the Colorado Historical Society, Denver, Colorado, from July 8, 1985 to September 1, 1985. |
