Show 69 about 75 percent of the dissolved solids that enter the Lake annually from surficial sources. For the water years 1960, 1961, and 1964, inflow to Great Salt Lake ranged from the lowest to about the average recorded for the period 1934- 35. Estimates indicate that for those three years, surface water inflow to the Lake contained mostly sodium chloride ions and delivered from 2.2 million tons of dissolved solids in 1961 to 3.5 million tons in 1964.
