Show IX Lake. The technical team and the policy- advisory team developed and left with the Office a vast amount of information which had been gathered at a sizeable expense but which would be largely unused and possibly lost if not put in a useable form. The Office requested Mrs. Dawn Curtis, a part- time staff editor, to compile and edit in a readable but informative style the data about the Lake which might be required for future legislative policy- making. The intent was not to provide a highly technical nor complete report. Rather, the purpose was to make the most important information assembled during the Great Salt Lake study easily available to legislators, legislative staff and the general public. The result, we hope, is a unique data source about a unique State resource, the Great Salt Lake. - J. Leon Sorenson Legislative Research Director |
