Hab. Java. B.M. Note.-This species is also allied to E. eunice, Godart, and is probably the insect intended in the 'Genera' and in the 'Catalogue of the East India Company.' Our present specimens of E. eunice are named from insects that had been determined by Dr. Boisduval, and agree with the original description of the species. 59. EUPLCEA ELEUSINE. Schmett. Bd. ii. pi. 9) figures two species under the name of Salpinx eleusina ; he considers them to be the sexes of the species ; they, however, belong to two distinct groups. Division V.
