Show 5911 359 3917 that particular sheet there ( indicating) there is that one extra rapid. Now, I have not gone through this. I am not prepared to stipulate as to anything else. The Special Master. Let us see if we cannot clear this up, Mr. Farnsworth. By The Special Master: Q What do you term a rapid? When you made your map, what kind of a situation did you term a rapid? A A sudden increase in the fall of the stream, causing rough water, or wide water. Q Suppose you had a sudden increase in the fall of themselves stream without any rough water or wide water, would you call that a rapid -- or did you? A Well, there could not very well be a sudden increase unless there would be a rapid there -- a real sudden increase, at least. Q Well, you first say with rough water or wide water. Suppose you had a condition that did not contain boulders or rough or wide water: would you call that a rapid? A No, sir. |
