Show 5795 3797 242 Station. In 1929, I spent from June 7th to June 12th at the San Juan Juan Station. The 13th and 14th I was at Less Ferry Gaging Station of the Geological Survey. On the 27th of June I was at Topock, and the 28th and July 1st I was at Bright Angel Station. The purpose of this visit this year and last year was to get in contact with our observers at these station, to observe the methods they were using, to be sure that they were getting the samples as we wished to have them taken, and to keep in mind the whole details of the work. Altogether, in the last four years, I spent about one hundred days in field work, observing the methods as are used by the observers. In October, 1925, at the Bright Angel station, they started the collection of regular silt samples and water samples. By " silt Samples" we refer to a sample that is taken |
