So we loaded on enough or supplies at Goodridge to carry us what we thought would be the time consumed in making the survey to Slick Horn Gulch, and then take on enough supplies there to carry us through to the next point. So, with the exception of that first load, it was all supplied by pack train. Q This survey which you carried on - was that done with approved scientific instruments? A Yes, approved by the survey here, and so far as I know they are the latest improved ones. Q The reproduction of what you found on this survey, was it reproduced here from your notes, or was the work done in the field?. A Practically - in fact, every line that I can re-call on the plan sheet of this survey was in pencil in the field, and later in ink in the office, by me.
