The Secretary read the following report on the additions that had been made to the Society's Menagerie in December 1904:- The registered additions to the Society's Menagerie during the month of December were 125 in number. Of these 47 were acquired by presentation, 3 by purchase, 29 were received on deposit, 5 were bred in the Gardens, and 41 were received in exchange. The total number of departures during the same period, by death and removals, was 163. Amongst the additions special attention may be directed to :- 1. A young male Greater Koodoo (tStrepsiceros strepsiceros) from Somaliland, presented by Major Irvine, I.M.S., on Dec. 12th. 2. A Hairy-eared Bear ( Ursus piscator) from Manchuria, presented by Mr. Frederick Ringer on Dec. 13th. 3. Two Victoria Crowned Pigeons (Goura victor ice) from Jobie Island, purchased on Dec. 15tli. 4. A voung specimen of Pousargue's Guenon ( Cercopithecus pousarguei) from Northern Nigeria, presented by Mr. L. Lester on Dec. 29th. New to the Collection.
