He couldn't see the men on the bars, but could hear them, and see their camps. R. 2022. He was at Hite about four days, and the Stanton expedition received no supplies there; but supplies were received there by the Best expedition. They had been hauled overland from the Wheeler ranch, about ten miles below Greenriver; and they picked ranch, about ten miles below Greenrivers; and they picked them up at Hite. While he was with the Best expedition of the Green River, he saw no other boats or people. R. 2023. Cross Examination ( R.
