Show __y__ Answer. All construction costs except those allocated to the non-reimbursable functions (flood control and fish and wildlife) would be repaid from the sale of irrigation water, municipal water, hydroelectric energy, and revenues from the conservancy-type district mentioned in the. answer to question 2. Construction costs for irrigation would be repaid largely through use of the interest component on commercial power. The revenues from the conservancy-type district are not included in the following table as the amount of these revenues is indeterminate at the present time. A summary indicating the relationship of construction, operation, maintenance, and replacement costs to anticipated project revenues follows: Construction costs Reimbursable: Power ........................................ $223,733,000 ($266,070,000) Irrigation .................................. 349,256,000 (415,343,000) Municipal water supply............ 15,025,000 (17,871,000) Subtotal ................................ 588,014,000 (699,284,000) Nonreimbursable: Flood control ............................ 5,459,000 (6,489,000) Fish and wildlife...................... 2,527,000 (3,007,000) Subtotal.................................. 7,986,000 (9,496,000) Total project costs................ 596,000,000 (708,780,000) Operation, maintenance, and replacements costs, 75-year period Reimbursable: Power ........................................ $267,195,000 ($267,195,000) Irrigation .................................. 232,777,000 (232,777,000) Municipal water supply............ 3,765,000 (3,765,000) Total ...................................... 503,737,000 (503,737,000) Project revenues, 75-year period Power ............................................ $939,045,000 ($939,045,000) Irrigation ...................................... 238,012,000 (238,012,000) Municipal water supply................ 39,592,000 (39,592,000) Total project revenues........ 1,216,649,000 (1,216,649,000) |
