Show -2- And the said J. B. Lippincott, on behalf of the United States of America, hereby declares that the United States intends to and will build and maintain at this point of the Colorado River a dam, the said Laguna dam; and that the United States intends to and will construct and main-tain a reservoir to extend from the said Laguna dam and covering Secs. 18, 19, 30 and 31 of T. 6 S., R. 21 W.; Secs. 6, 7 and 18 of T. 7 S., R. 21 W.; Secs. 1, 11, 12, 13, and 14 of T. 7 S., R. 22 W., all referred to G. & S. R. M., and Secs. 4, 9, 17, 19, 20, 30 and 31 of T. 15 S., R. 24 E., referred to S. B. M.; and that the United States intends to and will construct and maintain within said Yuma County a canal and system of canals extending from a point of diversion on the left bank of the Colorado River immediately above the said Laguna dam, to the international boundary line between the United States and Mexico. The water will be diverted by means of a diversion dam and will be conveyed through canals, flumes, wood, steel and cement pipes to the place of intended use. The size of the main canal will be 100 feet wide on the bottom and 10 feet deep, or of such dimensions as will give it an equivalent capacity.
