Show HumhuQ Six Here is shown the Humbug Six 'Tis plain they're in a h------11 of a fix They have committed a terrible sin For that alone they've been put in, The sin? To make pure laughter reign And just for thait they're now in chains. The mug to the left is Editor Smith His subtle hand cartoons his kith. On one thought we'll all agree And by his eyes one well can see He is a mighty man, For lie can draw with either hand. Twelve, eight, seven, nine, U twenty Is the number that's on D. W. C. After this issue, if we're not all ill We'll have a feed, he'll pay the bill. The dividends are very few But that old gag isn't very new. This next (man) up is advertising Lyn. He killed four men, now they have him. The men didn't want to advertise But when he argued they died of surprise. There's a girl we know, when he's let free His wife will more than likely be. The map on the left, Clint Dinwoodey A hardened criminal he'll always be. "Managing Editor," his title great,,. But such a berth he hardly rates. They'll have to kill him to make him die And the place he'll go to won't be very high. This dainty vision, P. S. Clowes To ye fair woman he bows and bows, He's drawn some pictures, they're not very good And now he's doing time on rotten food. To be a cartoonist, his highest aim, But a man in prison won't have much fame. This last tough guy is V. J. S. If you know who he is, you won't have to guess. The reason he too is doing time, Is because he concocted this silly rhyme. To every statement he says, "I know it," He also thinks he's the Staff Poet. Finished the eulogy of the Humbug Six, If justice is done they'll stay in this fix. They've made us laugh, we must admit it And we hope sometime they'll be acquitted.
