Description (1866) The Fifteenth Legislature, 1865, passed an act to print the laws as prepared and reported by the Joint Committee on Revision and Compilation, including laws of the current session. No 1865 session law was printed because these acts were incorporated into the 1866 compilation.

Description 240 LAWS OF UTAH. IT. Oatli of Petit Jurors in civil causes. You, and each of you, shall well and truly try the several issues which you shall have in charge at this Court, and true verdicts give in them, respectively, according to evidence. So help you God. 18. Oath of witnesses in a civil cause. The evidence you shall give in this issue, joined between A. B., plaintiff, and C. D., defendant, shall be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. So help you God. 19. Oath of Interpreter. You shall truly interpret between the Court, the jury, the council, and the witness, in the issue joined between A. B., plaintiff, and C. D., defendent. So help you God. 20. Voire Dire. You shall true answers make to such questions as shall be put to you; touching your interest in the event of this cause. So help you God. 21. Simple Deed, This indenture, made the 0 day of •, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and , between A. B., of, &c, of the first part, and C. 3)., of, &c, of the second part, witnesseth: That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of dollars, to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained and sold, and by these presents doth bargain and sell, unto the said party of the second part, and to his heirs and assigns, forever, all and singular, [here describe the premises]; together with all and singular hereditaments and appurtenances there-
