Show 73 VII Little Gypsum The area bounded on the north by Valley area the divide between La Sal Creek and Coyote Creek, on the east by the Dolores Rfeer, on the south by the north rim of Mclntyre Canyon, and on the west by the Colorado- Utah boundary. VIII Disappointment The area bounded on the northeast Valley area by the divide between Gypsum Creek and Disappointment Creek, on the South by the Montezuma National Forest and on the west by the Dolores River. IX Slickrock- The area bounded on the north by Dove Creek the north rim of Mclntyre Canyon, area on the east by the Dolores River and the Montezuma National Forest, on the south by an east-west line passing through the town of Dove Creek, and on the west by the Colorado-Utah boundary. The approximate situation of these mining areas is shown on plate 26, Summary of Verified Sales. The tables following In this section show the pertinent information regarding sales during the period from January 1, 1933 to December 31, 1943, of vanadium-bearing lands in each of the nine mining areas. Following each table is a chart (see pis. 27-35) showing graphically the facts concerning sales by years for the same period in the respective mining area. Following each chart detaile'd information concerning each transaction used in determining the sales value and Information obtained as a result of interviews of vendors and/or vendees is included. |
