Show 70 Verification of Sales Transactions. After the collection of these data from, official records an attempt was made to verify all transactions by mean6 of the personal interrogation of each vendor and vendee. It was not possible, of course, to interview every party involved In these transactions because of the death of some, temporary absence of others from their permanent residence, and the removal of many from their last known address. In interviewing these vendors and vendees it was attempted to determine which transactions represented true, consummated transactions between willing vendors and vendees and the actual amount of the consideration paid and received. Where improvements were conveyed along with mineral property the value of each, as recognized by the vendor and/or vendee was determined where possible. Only those transactions which, on the basis of these interviews, were determined to represent bona fide "arms length" sales between willing vendors and willing vendees were retained for use in determining the market value of vanadium lands sold. Transactions which, on the basis of these interviews, were determined not to represent bona fide sales between willing vendors and willing vendees or for which the actual consideration could not be determined with certainty were rejected and not used in determining the market value of vanadium lands sold.
