Show 47 earlier reports is by Coffin" and is based on studies made prior to 1920 when radium was being mined. A copy of Coffin's map is included with the maps (PV-225, 1-12) submitted under separate cover as a part of this report. A recent publication describing the vanadium area is by c 7 Fischer6 who also Is the author of a published map (see pi. 5, photostatic copy) showing the distribution of the vanadium-bearing formations. The names of the sedimentary formations used by Coffin in 1921 have been revised and changed in later reports. Tabulated on the following page for comparison are the names as used by Coffin and those used more recently by Fischer . The names used by Fischer are used in this report, 5Coffin, R.
